We are looking for a Project Officer to join the Sa Dragonera Blava project team, focused on the regeneration of the Andratx coastline.
What You’ll Do:
Project Management and Monitoring: Assist in budgeting, proposal writing, and reporting; coordinate project planning and activities.
Event Organization: Plan and manage participatory forums, technical meetings, and workshops with local sectors.
Environmental Outreach: Design and implement educational programs; create content for outreach materials and social media.
Technical Support: Collect and analyze socio-cultural data; draft technical reports and measure project impact.
What We’re Looking For:
Degree in Social Sciences, Biology, Oceanography, or Environmental Sciences with experience in conservation-related social issues.
At least 2 years of relevant experience.
Knowledge of community participation processes and governance.
Strong communication and event coordination skills.
Proficiency in Catalan, Spanish, and English.
Familiarity with data analysis tools and office software.
A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
Desirable Skills:
Experience in facilitation and environmental education.
Knowledge of Mallorca’s ecosystems and communities.
Familiarity with protected area management and the Mediterranean socio-ecological context.
SCUBA diving experience.
What We Offer:
Permanent contract with a 3-month probation period.
Competitive salary (€24,000–€26,000 gross/year).
Full-time, on-site position in Binissalem, Mallorca.
